About the reader:
Steve Wiegenstein is a native of the eastern Ozarks. He attended the University of Missouri at Columbia and worked for a while in newspapers in southern Missouri before getting into higher education as a career. His short stories have been published in Kansas Quarterly, The Nebraska Review, Louisiana Literature, The Southern Humanities Review, and elsewhere. In his day job, he works as associate dean for graduate studies at Columbia College. He is working on a series of historical novels set in an Ozarks river valley.
